At Val D’Apsa, we have always made quality our main point of strength. For this reason, and as an effective response to the needs of the Italian and export markets, we have obtained two major quality certifications, BRC and IFS.

BRC Certificate

The BRC (British Retail Consortium) mark is a global standard specifically for the safety of food products. This certification proves the company's constant commitment to safety, quality and compliance with food industry regulations, and meets the criteria set by the CIES Global Food Safety Initiative. Its requirements refer to the quality management system, the HACCP method and a set of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices).


IFS Certificate

IFS (International Food Standard) certification is intended to assist retail chains in the effective selection of suppliers of private label food products, on the basis of their ability to supply safe products, compliant with contract specifications and legal requirements. It is one of the food safety standards recognised, both in Europe and worldwide, by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international organisation founded with the main purpose of strengthening and promoting food safety throughout the supply chain.
