The history of Caseificio Val d'Apsa is a history of passion for what we do, love of our home area and respect for tradition in the production of high quality sheep and mixed milk cheeses.
Val d’Apsa is a 100% Italian group specialised in the production of cheeses of excellence. Our group owns two large dairies which offer the best of Central Italian cheese-making, with a vast assortment of cheeses ranging from typical varieties with thousands of years of history, such as pecorino, to more innovative products, winners of prizes all around the world, such as the “i Creativi” line of flavoured cheeses.
“Val d’Apsa” is the brand that best represents the cheese-making tradition of the Montefeltro area. It identifies products rich in history: from the medieval Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano PDO to the Renaissance Casciotta d’Urbino PDO. What's more, “Fattorie di Maremma” encapsulates the best of the world-famous Tuscan and Maremma tradition, with its rich variety and choice quality.
A deep bond with our family roots is behind a product that uniquely expresses the character of our local area and our history.
We believe firmly in the importance of guaranteeing the quality and safety
of all our products, with continual improvement as our motto
